The Proposed Phillipine National Collection of Microorganism(PNCM) is located at the south institue of Plan Breeding in UP Los Banos, west of the existing BIOTECH Main Building and west of Main River.

The PNCM is a permanently facility at BIOTECH, UPLB. it has the expertise and adequate equioment to preserve cultures for long-term storage. However, despite these assets, the PNCM’s current facility does not have have adequate space and security provisions against fire, earthquake, flood and other natural disasters.
