This project covers the design of the rehabilitation of the existing University of the Philippines Los Banos (UPLB) Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) located along Rambutan Road, UPLB, Los Banos, Laguna.

The existing UPLB’s Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) was originally conostructed in the late 1960’s using Trickling Filter (TF) system. Currently, the existing UPLB’s STP is no longer functioning due to its old age. Thus, the UPLB has decided to rehabilitate this facility to accommodate the current waste water generated from buildings in the lower campus and the housing units. The rehabilitationn shall also ensure that the UPLB’s STP is compliant to the prevailing environmental regulations and codes.
