The National Museum undertook a very ambitious plan of redeveloping the NM complex. Its Administration existing buildings shall be integrated with the new buildings that they plan to build. The whole complex was designed to be interconnected using bridges and a basement level which will also address its need of parking space. The NM Complex shall also have various commercial establishments to cater to its growing tourist and visitors. The redevelopment shall help realize the National Museum’s vision of having a Filipino nation unified by a deep sense of pride in their common identity, unified by a deep sense of pride in their common identity, cultural heritage and natural patrimony, and imbibed with the spirit of nationalism and strong commitment to the protection and dissemination of legacy.
